Situated in the heart of Pays Basque on the GR65 route between Saint Jean Pied de Port and the Bentarte Mountain, it is the best place to stay before crossing the Lépoéder mountains direction to spain.
Warning: Priority to people arriving on foot
Many pilgrims have come to appreciate the beauty of the landscape and the peacefulness of the area: an ultimate resting place on the Compostelle walk.

At Orisson, the bed is provided with a fitted sheet, a pillow case and a blanket.

Shower and WC (there is sufficient hot water for each person to have a shower for 5 minutes, so each person is encouraged to consider the needs of others and the available hot water in the mountains)

For pilgrims who would like acomodation but no dinner or breakfast or for those who are accompanied by a vehicle, we propose the “Kayola gîte” situated 800m before Refuge Orisson by the orientation table.
You will have access to a kitchen, showers and toilets.
It is also possible for people to make a reservation for dinner or breakfast at the “Refuge Orisson” (00 33 559491303 / 00 33 681497956). Attention you will have to go to Orisson and return there by walking, there is no shuttle.
